Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
it depends on the condition of the person .....if he is doing a job and wants to do mba then correspondence is the best for him......and if some fresh graduate wants to do mba then regular is the best......
generally regular mba is preferred over correspondence............ |

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
Hi, Both are good to study either regular or correspondence in MBA, there is one thing that correspondence MBA is not so valued than that of regular MBA. So, I opt for the regular MBA.
Thank you |

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
I think MBA coresspondence along with few years of experience is better then mba regular with no job experience, because priority is given to experience holder.

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
i will say both are good because both are designed for different sections of people and both are relevant looking at the cause for which MBA is being done i will sugest that persons must judge their need of doing MBA and then only choose the relevant course .but regular course always has an upper edge but it can be compromised with good enough experience. thanks

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
Generally regular MBA is good as if you are doing regular MBA then you shall concentrate effectively on your studies. Regular MBA is also good as you have direct/ face-to-face interaction with your teachers and you can go to them in case of any query. But it is only good for those who are only studying at one time and for those who do not attend the classes regularly due to their jobs or some other reason they can opt for MBA(correspondence) as it will provide the value addition along with doing the jobs.

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
i think both are good but they have their own fields , like if you have already join a good company with your graduate degree than it will imposiible for you to do full time MBA but then you just do the correspond MBA it will help to get some increase in post. but if you are a student then you should do full time MBA and you will have a good respected job with high salary. So i thing both is good at their own situation.

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
I think regular one is better.
Everyone here is talking about job,so lets have a point as when you have a job and you are doing correspondence MBA, that means you have been placed after graduation only, on the other hand, if you go for regular, and get placed after MBA, you get a higher salary than the former one. So all i want to say is that from both, the study point and the salary point of view, Regular one is better. |

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
I think regular M.B.A. is better and should be a preffered option unless the circumstances force a person to go for part time.
In the regular one we will be able to give our whole attention to our studies and projects.. we will be able to deliver good results after a 2 year course.... |

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
Both are equally better.
The thing that really does matters are the circumstances. If you can go for regular, then its good for you, but if you are already placed, distance one is all you left with. |

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
Regular MBA is best compared to Correspondence. Most of them doing Correspondence only for the sake of Certificates and degree behind their names. Nowadays Regular MBA students itself feeling hard to get a job. So, Correspondence value is vanishing right now.

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
Quote:
According to me both are good. We can not compare any thing because every field maintains their area and have own different quality. All students wish to join regular MBA because of good placement but what about those students who have some personal problem to join regular MBA. This time many MBA institute demand very high. This is good for only those who is interested in this process. But many students who want to study with thier average income not depend on their parents income. Those type of student have only choice of distance MBA. Many students get good job after distance MBA on the basis of their talent. So, we can not compare regular with distance education. Both are good according to students need. SJ |

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
Hello Everyone,
My preference is for regular MBA course. Either ways degree will be awarded, but in a regular course, it gives added advantage where the students would get good guidance personally from Lecturers/Professors and in Hands-On too. Majority of the companies give more preference to candidates with MBA degree from a regular course... Persuing MBA Part-time course is also a good option for working people. Regards, Deepika Guhan |

Re: Regular MBA vs. Correspondence (distance) MBA
Yes, both are good but if you have opportunity than you should definitely go for regular when as it has some benefit over correspondence but when you have limited resources than it is better to go for latter option.
and in that case you can do your correspondence + job which will provide you with degree and experience both. |
