Am I eligible to study M.Tech if secured 2nd Division in 10th & 12th and 65% in B.Tech being a ST candidate?
Hello,
I got 2nd division in 10th & 12th but my B.Tech aggregate is 65% Am I eligible for M.Tech study? I am ST category student. |

Those candidates who have completed B.Tech/B.E/MCA/M.Sc degree from a recognized university are eligible for M.Tech course. M.Tech course doesn't require any percentage marks in 10th and 12th standard marks. You must have GATE score card. |

Yes, of course, being a B.Tech student, you are definitely eligible for M.Tech. You must appear and qualify in Engineering exam like GATE or the entrance exam conducted by the respective university. Admission to the M.Tech is done based on the entrance exam performance. The selection process is divided into three categories such as, -Written Test (objective type) -Group Discussion -Personal Interview The eligibility criteria needed for one to join this M.Tech are a B.Tech or B.E in any stream with not less than 50% of marks from a recognized university. |
