Can I appear for net/slet exam after completing post graduation with 55% from a reputed deemed to be university?
Can i appear for net/slet exam after completing post graduation with 55% from a reputed deemed to be university? Will i face any discrimination as a student from a deemed to be university? Will abroad universities recognize my degree? My university is not listed among the blacklisted universities by ugc. Please do reply.

If the University is UGC recognised then you are eligible. Check with your University website where it would have a certificate of recognition by UGC.
Usually UGC blackilists all non recognised Universities but better check to be safe. And you should check all these details before taking admission. Your marks in Masters makes you eligible for NET/SLET.55% marks are needed for general candidates to apply for NET/SET. There is no age limit for Assistant Professor post but if you want to apply for JRF also the age limit is 28years. |
