Can i study M.Sc. (Physics) course after B.E.Mechanical completion?


I am student of Gujarat technological university. I am doing B.E. Mechanical. I am interested in doing M.Sc. physics as I do have interest in cosmology and particle physics. Can i do this course?

After completion of B.tech , you can study M.sc (Physics). The job oppurtuities for the M.sc (physics ) canddiates are also good in both Public and Private sector.

~ After completion of M.sc in physics ,

1) You can apply for the post of Scientist in DRDO

DRDO = Defence research and development organization

2) You can apply for the post of SRF Physics in NIPHM .
The job location will be in Hyderabad

3) You can apply for the post of JRF in Madurai Kamaraj University
The job location will be in Madurai

4) You can apply for the post of JRF Physics in IIT Delhi.
The job location will be in Delhi

5) You can apply for the post of Research Associate in IIT Delhi
The job location will be in Delhi


6) You can apply for the Banking sector jobs also like Clerk post , Probationary officers post through IBPS exam or Individual Bank exams.


7) You can apply for the post of SRF Physics in National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources.
The job location will either be in Vijayawada or in Kochi , Kolkata.

Yes, the aspirant can study M.Sc Physics course after the completion of B.E in Mechanical Engineering. The eligibility to study M.Sc in Physics is a pass with 50% marks in B.E or B.Tech in ECE/Mech/EE/EEE or equivalent. There will be an entrance examination for the admission.
