Can I study Master of Social Work after completing B.Sc(Nursing)?


Hello Sir,
I am doing B.Sc in Nursing.
I am immensely want to do MSW.
Master of Social Work. Is it possible to
do Master of Social Work after
completing B.Sc in Nursing?

Yes, you are eligible for Master of Social Work course after completing B.Sc Nursing. Normally, any stream graduates candidates are eligible. Since, you have completed B.Sc Nursing, it is not good for your career to apply for Master of Social Work after B.Sc Nursing. Master of Social Work is totally different from M.Sc Nursing. Being a B.Sc Nursing it is better that you can apply for M.Sc Nursing or its related course. I suggest you to once think before selecting the Master degree course.

Those candidates satisfy the below criteria can apply for Master of Social Work,

- Candidates must hold bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university with minimum 50% of aggregate marks.

- Candidates appearing their final year of graduation programme are also eligible to apply.
