Hello,
I am a student of Nagpur University completed M.Com.
want to do enquiry of M.Phil course in this university.
Can you give me information of M.Phil course in Commerce?
Please reply as soon as possible.

As far as commerce courses offered by Nagpur University are concerned, M.Phil is not in the list of Commerce Courses. But Yes, M.Phil course in Commerce stream is offered by Nagpur University under list of Ayurveda Courses. Candidates who wish to do their M.Phil in the faculties of the below streams are allowed to do.

>> M.Phil in Arts

>> M.Phil in Social Sciences

>> M.Phil in Science

>> M.Phil in Commerce

>> M.Phil in Home Science

Educational Qualification required to do M.Phil in Commerce:

>> Master degree in II division in Commerce Faculty

Duration of Course - 1 year

M.Phil course Approving Authority - U.G.C (University Grants Commission)

Being an M.Com student, you are eligible to apply for M.Phil Commerce course. But, you need to qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the respective university in order to get admission. The M. Phil entrance exam notification usually released during the month of March/April.

Master of Philosophy in Commerce M.Phil (Commerce) is a one year course.

Master degree holders in Commerce with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized are eligible. A minimum of 50% marks is enough for reserved category candidates. The admission the course is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university. Entrance test conducted for admission includes two different parts for 100 marks. The entrance exam is an objective type with Multiple choice and syllabus is based on the Master degree.
