Eligibility for M.Sc Horticulture after UG?


I'm doing B.Sc Plant biology and plant biotechnology 2nd year in a topmost college in Chennai. I have interest in doing horticulture in my masters. Do I have the eligibility to do masters in Horticulture after my UG?

Eligibility for M.Sc Horticulture:-

The candidate must hold a Bachelors Degree in BSC Agriculture, B.Sc Horticulture, BSc Biotechnology or any other equivalent discipline from a recognised institute.

Minimum percentage in the qualifying examination acceptable in most of the institute is 60%.

Admission in most of the institutes is considered on merit basis i.e candidates performance in the qualifying examination is considered for admission in MSC Horticulture course.

The eligibility to study MSc in Horticulture is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in BSc Agriculture, BSc Horticulture, BSc Biotechnology, or any other equivalent discipline with a minimum score of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The admission process is usually done on the basis of scores obtained in an entrance examination and some colleges offer admission on a merit basis. The maximum age limit to apply for this course is 25 years and it varies from university to university.

Eligibility
Those with bachelor's degree in botany, agriculture, Horticulture or equivalent from a recognised university with atleast 50% marks in their graduation.

Admission is based on entrance exam as well as merit.
Valid score in
ICAR
AIEEA
CET
BHU PET

Average annual fees of the course
INR 5000 to 80,000.

Eligibility for M.Sc Horticulture after UG?

1. Any candidate with a bachelor's degree in Botany, Agriculture, Horticulture or equivalent from a recognized institute is eligible to apply.

2. You must possess at least 50% marks in their graduation degree.

3. 5% relaxation to the candidates of reserved category.
