GATE is extremely beneficial to the engineers from various aspects.

- Through GATE score one can get admission in the top institutes of the country for M.Tech and MS course which include the IITs and NITs.
- Apart from IITs and NITs, other institutes across the country also take admission on the basis of GATE score.
- You can get employment opportunity in the PSUs which are the excellent working place in modern world. PSUs not only come under government sector but also provide handsome salary, good facilities, job security and less work pressure.
- Apart from this, GATE qualified students can get scholarship if they pursue their higher studies from the top institutes of the country especially if they undertake some research work.

GATE exam is conducted by IITs for admission in M.Tech in IITs and IISc. But GATE score is used for admission in M.Tech in other institutions as well.
Nowadays even PSUs conduct recruitment through GATE score.

Scholarship are given to students who qualify in GATE and then takes admission in UGC recognized institutions for M.Tech.
Stipend forms are submitted after admissions only. During the first semester after few months of commencement of the classes, the monthly stipends starts coming from MHRD including the arrears.
Only GATE qualified M.Tech students are eligible for stipends.

GATE means Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering. It is National as well as International Level Entrance examination for Admission in M.tech . It helps the Engineer to carry on their research work in their respective field from which they have did their Graduation. GATE Qualified get scholarship if they have secured more than 90% in their GATE exam.
