Hello sir, I have completed B.Tech and now want to get admission in Jadavpur University for master degree. Are the marks of GATE exam required to get admission in Jadavpur University for a master degree?

GATE score can be used to get admission in M.Tech at any college or university in India. In fact, GATE qualified candidates are preferred for admission over other candidates for M.Tech admission.

Hence, you can surely apply for admission based on your GATE score at Jadavpur university, when there is an admission notification. You don't need to appear for any other entrance exam.

Without having GATE score, you can't do M.Tech from Jadavpur University.

So you can apply for GATE exam to get admission in Jadavpur for M.Tech course.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department from a recognized University then you are eligible for GATE exam
