Courses and Admission Procedure in Jadavpur University
Jadavpur University offers under graduate as well as post graduate courses in various faculty such as Arts, Science and Engineering and Technology Courses. Admission to under graduate courses in Arts and Science subjects is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exams. Admission to B.Tech courses is carried out on the basis of AIEEE/ ISEET / WB-JEE exams. The University considers GATE/ IIT-JEE exams for the admission to M. Tech programmes.

Admission Procedure
Admission to under graduate level courses in Arts and Science subjects is based on the marks obtained in higher secondary examination. Admission to Engineering and Technology Courses is based on scores obtained in national level entrance exams such as AIEEE/ ISEET and WB-JEE.
The University conducts its own entrance exam for admission to post graduate courses in Arts and Science subjects. Admission to M. Tech programmes is based on merit score obtained in GATE/ IIT-JEE exams. Final selection is based on the scores obtained in entrance exam and in personal interview, conducted by the University.
