l want to do M.Phil through correspondence.
But I could not get any satisfactory answer through my search.
Is it possible now to do M.Phil through distance mode?

Yes, it is possible to do M.Phil through Distance mode. Normally, all cities in India have open universities that offer M.Phil through distance mode. it is mandatory that you should satisfy the eligibility criteria to be eligible for M.Phil course.

A student who has passed a Master degree from a recognized university, which is approved by the UGC securing not less than 55% of the marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto at the Master degree as a whole in the concerned subject shall be eligible for M. Phil course.

Admission to the M.Phil course is done on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the respective university. Entrance exam is comprised of objective type with multiple choice. The entrance exam usually held during the month of July or August every year. Those candidates who have cleared the entrance exam will be shortlisted for a personal interview.
