When is the upcoming GATE notification going to be released? M.Sc(Biotechnology) candidate can apply?

Hello,
What is the minimum qualification required for GATE? When its notification will come? I am an M.Sc(Biotechnology) candidate. Can I give GATE?

GATE stands for Graduate aptitude test in engineering.

The minimum academic eligibility criteria required to apply for GATE is that the candidate must have passed bachelors degree in engineering/ technology from a recognized university.

The candidate who are in final year of graduation are also eligible to appear for GATE.

This year the GATE exam was conducted from January 30 to February 07.

Again the notification for GATE 2017 will be released in the month of September, 2017.

You are eligible to appear for GATE for next year.

GATE notification is announced mostly in the month of September. Therefore, you have to wait for a while now because for 2016 registration is over.

M.Sc Biotechnology is definitely eligible for GATE. Just make sure that you have got above 60% marks in the post graduation.
