I am doing my master degree in distance from madras university if i score well in net exam then i will be able to become a lecturer or assistant professor in government college?

You are doing your masters degree from madras university so you are eligible for UGC NET exam. If you once qualify with good score in UGC NET exam then you are eligible for lectureship post.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Age criteria for NET exam:-

For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years.

For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.

Can I become a professor after completing my post graduate degree in correspondence??

Sir I have completed llm and bl degree regular, and i clear tnset also, i have one doubt 2 i study govt school , 10th private its valid for asst professor job
