Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management was incorporated in the year 2007. It is a public business school set up by Government of India. The institute is located in the state of Meghalaya. The institute is the seventh Indian Institutes of Manegement. The institute is named after former Prime Ministaer, Rajiv Gandhi. The foundation stone of the institute was laid by Shri Arjun Singh. Mr. Rathindra Nath Dutta and Professor Ashoke K Dutta are the Chairperson and Director of the institute respectively. The institute has an urban campus of 120 acres.

1. Recruitment of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Behavioral Sciences):
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. Degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate at Master’s degree. Candidates should also possess minimum years of experiences in the reserach and teaching field.

2. Recruitment of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer (Economics):

Educational Qualification: C.A. or M.Com or ICWAI or two years MBA degree in Finance from a recognized institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

11. Recruitment of Store and Purchase Officer:
Educational Qualification: Graduation with atleast 8 years of experience as Store Keeping from a recognized Higher Educational Institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
