Ii have secured 84.2% in 10th,70.4% in 12th and 62.4% in b.tech upto 5th sem. Am i eligible for sitting in the campus placement of Wipro. Please reply me soon. I want to know this in order to get prepared well for the campus placement. Thank you

Yes, you are eligible for Wipro recruitment.

Wipro Technology is a reputed multinational company.

Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for Wipro Technology is,

Wipro Technology= 60%

Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for Wipro Technology recruitment.

Pattern for Wipro Technology written test:-

1. Quantitative /analytical reasoning (20 questions)
2. Verbal ability (20 questions)
3. Technical section (10questions)

I am extremely sorry to state that you cannot appear for the Wipro campus placement drive. This is because the eligibility criteria for Wipro is 60% in 10th and 10+2 while 65% in B.Tech. Since you have 62.4% in your B.Tech course, so you are not eligible for the Wipro Recruitment Drive. However, since you are in the fifth semester so you have one more semester to improve your percentage and make it above 65% as Wipro usually comes for placement drive in the 7th semester in most of the colleges across India. However, you are eligible for other companies especially the IT majors like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. who have the eligibility criterion as 60% throughout the career which involves 10th, 10+2 or diploma and B.Tech. So start preparing and you can definitely get job in any of these companies.

You can only apply for wipro only if you secured aggregate of 65% in B.Tech.As its eligibility criteria is-

1-Minimum of 55% in 10th.(In first attempt)

2-Minimum of 60% in 12th.(In first attempt)

3-Minimum of 65% in B.Tech without any current backlogs.
