hello am a 8th sem student of btech ece engg
i got selected in the off -campus drive of hcl comnet ...but am really confused about whether to join or not ..there r several reasons for it
1. they r not offering a gud package ,only 2.75 lakh pa
2. its a subsidiary of hcl technologies n the concept of subsidiary and its future is not very much clear to me
3. i have heard that there r too night shifts in hcl comnet n i being a gal am very worried about it..
please help me in taking this decision of whether to join or not

If you are not comfortable with night shifts then you shouldn't opt for this job. Most of the IT companies have night shifts and you must make sure that if it is day shift job before joining.
Also, if you want a higher package then you must try at other companies also. You can't reject a job until you have another better option in your hand. You never know whether you will get a better package or not.
