Having less than 60% in 10th and 12th will become a barrier to get job after B.Tech?


Hello
I m 6th semester btech engineering student. My branch is Mechanical Engineering..my aggregate % in engineering is 67%...and my 10th and 12th class % is 51% and 55% respectively... Is I m able to get a job after btech sem....I m afraid; because of my 10th & 12th class percentage....

Yes, it is possible. First preference is always given to candidate having a good educational background. Nowaday most of the reputed companies, requires minimum 60% marks in whole career, but they also give some exemption to those candidates who have scored good marks in graduation. So, If you have scored good marks in your graduation then definitely you can get a job in reputed companies for sure.

And it is not easy to get a job in reputed companies. You must have good knowledge and skill in respective field, which is very helpful for you to get a job. Even if you scored 100% marks, with zero skill and knowledge you can't get good jobs. Get good job is depends upon your knowledge and skill relevant specialization.

I have just completed my 12. now i have choose IT for my further studies. So can you please suggest me which is one is better CSIT or BIT?
