Whether IT Industries requires sufficient percentage in 10th and 12th for job recruitment?

Hello... I am a final year btech engg. Student. I just wanted to ask that will the IT industries consider even
the 10th and 12th marks and if so
what is the minimum percentage??
will they consider overall of 10th and
12th?? Coz I have heard that IT
industries ask for 60% in 10th and
12th...So if a person gets less than
60% in 10th and 12th but has
secured a distinction in
graduation..what would he/she
should face/do?
Please reply properly with correct
elaborate information.
I am tensed.... As same is the case with me.

Not all IT industries, but most of them consider candidates with 60% in 10th, inter and graduation. If you scored less than 60% in your 10th or 12th, but scored well in your graduation, they may consider you, but you need to have a good explanation for not scoring required percentage in schooling. If there is a valid reason, then you are eligible. It is good to have 60% in your academics from schooling to graduation.

Here are some of the IT Industries which expects above criteria:

• TCS
• Infosys
• CTS
• Accenture
• Cap Gemini
• HCL
•Wipro and more
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
