Re: What does HR and CE stands for in TAT? How can I apply for it?
HR refers to Human Resources and CE refers to Civil Engineering. These are some of the departments and streams under which TAT or Technical Assistant Trainee roles are offered.
For HR, you will need to have a degree in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Social Work, Public Administration, etc. The syllabus would include concepts related to: • Human Resource Management: Roles and responsibilities of HR manager, HR planning, recruitment, selection, training, performance management, compensation and benefits, etc. • Industrial Relations: Grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, strike management, etc. • Organizational Behavior: Leadership, motivation, teamwork, decision making, etc. • Personnel Administration: Service rules, right to information, RTI, etc. For CE, a degree in Civil Engineering is required. The syllabus would include: • Principles of engineering surveying, levelling and layout of curves. • Construction materials: Bricks, cement, timber, paints, etc. • Soil mechanics and foundation engineering. • Building construction: Estimation, water supply, sanitation, roads, etc. • Transportation engineering: Highway planning, drainage system, bridges, etc. • Introduction to GIS and remote sensing. • Analysis of rates of various civil works. To apply for TAT in HR or CE, you need to apply through the official website of the concerned department/organisation offering these roles. Some websites where you can check vacancies and apply are: • Assam Public Service Commission (APSC): www.apsc.nic.in Posts are advertised under 'Career' section on the home page. • Assam Civil Services (Executive Branch): www.assam.gov.in/recruitment Vacancy notifications are published under 'Recruitment'. • Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms: dopdar.assam.gov.in Openings for HR and personnel roles are listed. • Public Works Department (PWD), Assam: pwd.assam.gov.in Vacancies for trainee and assistant engineers under CE stream are announced. Submit the required application with details, documents and fees before the deadline. Shortlisted candidates will be called for written exam, document check, interview and medical test as per the selection process for each post. Prepare well with relevant concepts and examples to clear all selection stages successfully for your desired TAT role. |
