The AIPMT exam is conducted in two stages namely prelims and mains. In the prelims exam the total time provided to solve the question paper is of three hours and the no. of questions from Physics are 50. All the questions are multiple choice type questions having four options of which only one is correct. There is also negative marking for each wrong answer. In the mains exam, there are total 10 questions from Physics and the total time provided for solving the paper is of 2 hours. The mains exam is descriptive one and each question carries a maximum of 5 marks. The medium of the examination is English. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
