The AIPMT Main Exam in Biology has two parts, namely Part I and Part II. Part I has questions from the subject of Chemistry and Physics. The Part II has questions from the subject of Biology in two sections, from Botany and Zoology. Each sections offer a maximum of ten questions, with each having a maximum of five marks. The maximum marks of each paper are one hundred and offers time duration of two hours. The question is of descriptive types and each of the questions has to be answered in offered booklets. Students should also keep in mind that even if diagrams are not asked one should always support his/her answers with relevant diagrams in order to get an edge over the others.
