The English paper for CAT examination is divided into four sections. The sections are Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability & Problem solving. There is no fixed pattern for the paper. Multiple choice type questions are usually given in the paper. For each incorrect answer there is some deduction in marks. Two and a half hour is given for the CAT examination. During the exam, no break is given. From the year 2009 computer based test is held for the students. If any student wants to clear the CAT examination then he or she should take a good care of their communication skills & reading skills. The Reading Comprehension part is considered to be most important as it helps in clearing the cut-off. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
