Environmental technology refers to the utilization of various technologies in different environmental activities so as to contribute to the building of a greener future with the increase of availability of resources. The paper under this course that deals with Physical processes is more or less geographical in nature in the way that it introduces certain concepts of physical movements around the earth. These concepts are really thorough and until and unless the student is familiar with these, there is no point in advancing their knowledge in the field of technology. Some of the topics mentioned under this course are really essential and include the difference between surface water and groundwater, igneous and metamorphic rocks, sial and sima, transgression and regression weathering, description of hydrological cycle, scope and application of marine geological investigations, classification of clouds, thermal structure of the atmosphere, ozone in atmosphere, heat balance of earth and atmosphere system. Questions of different kinds like fill the blank spaces, true-false, define some terms, difference between, short notes, MCQs etc. are asked in this paper. The maximum marks for any question is 6 and minimum is half. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question papers.
