IETE DIPIETE-ET (New Scheme) Engineering Materials Exam – Download Previous Year’s Question Papers
The Engineering Materials under new scheme of DIPIETE Exam is not that much different from the old scheme. The question paper tests the examinees on their knowledge of common materials used in engineering, such as copper, ceramic and silicon. The students would have to be acquainted with the various properties of engineering materials in order to score marks in this paper. The paper is a generous mix of multiple choice questions and descriptive questions, both of which allow students to score very high marks. Multiple choice questions are on the bonding in silicon, dielectic constant of air, percentage conductivity of copper and several other basic questions. Students are to choose the correct or best possible answer from the choices provided, and thus they have to know the chapters very well. The second group contains descriptive questions. Questions include short notes and application type questions. Some of the common topics are Permanent Dipole moment, application of permanent magnetic materials and more. For your convenience we have attached some of the previous year’s question papers so that you can check it yourself and know the paper pattern and questions asked.
