The course duration is two years. IGNOU provides reference material and other resources to interested students. The previous years’ papers as well as the assignments can be downloaded from the net. If a candidate has appeared for any other entrance exams for MBA, e.g. CAT, MAT or any other state level exam, he or she does not need to take OPENMAT. A graduate level certificate in any of the fields – Arts, Science or Commerce is also mandatory to be eligible for the exam. The exam duration is three hours and it is a 100 marks paper divided into two sections.
