CSTE is an examination for certification in software testing. CSTE certification papers consist of both objective and descriptive questions. The descriptive part determines the programming skills of the candidate. The question paper consists of two parts with MCQs. There are about twenty MCQs in all. Each wrong answer in the MCQ section will be penalized. The question papers also have two essay questions. A person has a maximum of three attempts to clear the examination. These papers mainly check a person’s skill when it comes to the application of programming.
