The University Grants Commission conducts the examination keeping in mind that the teachers selected for teaching at the various universities will be preparing religious monks and the historians as well. So apart from the language grammar and the writing skills they must also be well versed with the history of the languages. They are thus asked many objective questions related to the history of the language as well and the books that have been so far written in the language. The most important books written in the language are the religious books and thus need to be attended to with some special treatment. Beside the candidates taking the exam must also keep in mind that they keep a track of time because the time available is really short and each and every second counts.
