Union Public Service Commission deals with jobs related to different civil services in India. There are basically two parts of this UPSC exam. This offers candidates to work under the Indian Government. The UPSC Mains Pali (Paper II) Papers is quite similar to the first paper.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

Each appearing candidate needs to be a graduate in any stream from an authorized university or institution. The candidates must be under the age of 21 to 30 years. The candidates must be an Indian Citizen. There are a minimum of five years of relaxations are given to SC/ST candidates and a minimum of two years of relaxations are given to OBC candidates.

Scoring and negative markings:

The marks carries by every question is different and scorings of all the questions is given at the end of each question. There are no negative scores allotted to the questions.

Mode of exam:

The UPSC Mains Pali (Paper II) Papers deals with the hand based examination and generally carry descriptive type questions.

Format:

In general, the Mains Pali (Paper II) Papers is a theoretical based paper and deals with descriptive type questions.

Paper pattern:

The Union Public Service Commission Mains exam holds similar paper pattern for both the papers. A maximum number of eight questions are asked from the entire syllabus of the Pali (Paper II) paper. Only, first and fifth questions are mandatory to answer. From rest of the six questions only three questions are need to attempt selecting atleast single question from each section.

Markings:

The full score given to UPSC Mains Pali (Paper II) Papers is 300.

Schedule:

The schedule time under which all the appearing candidates need to answer all the mandatory questions is three hours.
