Candidates who face UPSC entrance examinations has to face a total of nine pares. 4 of the 9 papers are chosen by the candidate out of list of subjects provided. A candidate has to choose two subjects. Each subject contains two papers. Psychology is a choice available in the list. The paper 2 for psychology is available in both Hindi and English. Question 1 and 5 are compulsory. The candidate has to write three other questions in addition to questions 1 and 5. The paper is out of 300 and the duration is three hours.
