Tamil Nadu board of secondary education was established in the year 1910 and H.S.S. Lawrence is known to be the ‘Architect of Higher Secondary Education in Tamil Nadu’. All students have to study English and 1 more language subject. And then depending on the stream can choose any other 4 subjects as prescribed by the board. Accountancy paper is of 200 marks and is for 3 hours duration. Students need to be really fast to complete their paper. It contains 4 sections with a proper mix of theory and numerical questions. First section is objective type, next 5 marks 10 question are there, ‘C’ contains 12 marks questions and last section has 20 marks large questions.
