It was in the year 1910 that Tamil Nadu board of secondary education was established and H.S.S. Lawrence is said to have laid the foundation of this board. English is a compulsory subject but one more language needs to be studied. And after that the student can choose any other 4 subjects depending on their stream. Economics paper doesn’t contain practical work so is of 200 marks and 3 hours is given to complete the paper. There are 4 sections where first section contains objective question, second contains 3 marks 15 questions but only 10 is to be attempted. Section C and D are of 60 marks and questions are of 10 marks and 20 marks respectively. The questions are purely theoretical. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
