Microbiology paper provides a maximum of a hundred and fifty marks and the time duration is of three hours according to the Tamil Nadu state board. There are four sections. Section A consist of very small answer questions with one marks assigned to each question i.e. a total of fifty marks. Section B contains twenty questions out of which any fifteen questions of two marks each, is required to be attempted by the candidate. Section C also contains thirty marks and a total of ten questions out of which any six questions are to be answered. The last section requires four answers to be answered, each carrying ten marks. However the paper is set in standard way so that the maximum portion of the syllabus is covered. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
