UPSC Geologists Exam Geology Paper III is a theoretical one and there are 6 questions to be answered. Each question is kept in 6 different sections. Each section is of 2 questions of long answer type and one from each group is needed to be solved. Questions asked are of theoretical type and each question is separated into 4-5 sub-questions. Minimum Educational qualification is post-graduation in geology/mineral geology/marine geology or relevant. Age limitation for candidates are 21-31 years however there is relaxation in age limits for SC/ST candidates. There are total of 200 marks and time allotted to get those marks is 3 hours.
