UPSC Geologists Exam Geology Paper II is a conventional one and there are 6 questions needed to be attempted. These questions are kept in different groups to choose. Each question is equipped with internal alternative. Questions asked are of theoretical type and each question is of 4-5 sub-questions. Educational qualification is post-graduation in geology/mineral geology/marine geology or relevant. Age limitation for candidates are 21-31 years however there is relaxation in age limits for SC/ST candidates. There are total of 200 marks and time allotted to get those marks is 3 hour only.
