This paper is for those who chose psychology in UPSC entrance examinations in the optional section. The allotted time for completing the examination is 3 hours and is for a total of 300 marks. A candidate has to attempt a total of 5 questions and each question carries 60 marks. Some questions will have sub divisions and each sub question will carry a mark depending on the total number of sub questions in a section. All the questions are descriptive. The candidate has to attempt question 1 and 5 compulsorily and three other questions. When selecting the optional questions, it should cover both the sections.
