UPSC geography paper 2 is one of the papers that a candidate can opt for the optional section. Paper 2 for geography consists of 8 questions. From the eight questions, a candidate has to answer a total of 5 questions with each question carrying 60 marks. The total mark of the examination is 300 and the time allotted is 3 hours. The paper is divided into two sections each containing 4 questions. Question 1 and 5 are to be attempted compulsorily and three others questions are to be attempted out of which should be from both first and the second sections. All the questions are descriptive ones. General mental ability
Basic numeracy(Class X level)
English language comprehension skills
