Information Systems Applications Development is a sub-division of Computer Applications offered at the post-graduate level other than the various other courses offered under the parent subject of computer studies. The development of scope and relevance of application of concepts is as important as the concepts used in Information System themselves. Hence, object-oriented programming at a basic and an advanced level, methodologies for software designing and development, applications of databases, application development of internet services and vocational hindrances in Information Technology comprise of the syllabus module. The functional aspect of the subject focuses on the quality assurance methods, data security and end-user computing and development strategies for an overall integrated development of the applicative values of the entire information system in reality.
