age required for a student to be eligible
for 10th ICSE exams scheduled in next year?

Indian certificate of secondary education examination (ICSE) was established in 1958 by the university of Cambridge local examinations syndicate.

As such there is no age limit for appearing the ICSE examination. However, the schools while admitting the candidates to follow the norms as set by the state education department of the concerned state government.

As per ICSE Rules and Regulation, there is no maximum age limit for candidates taking the ICSE Examination.
There is minimum age limit for a candidate to appear in ICSE Examination is 15 years of age i.e., candidate must be 15+.

You need to be 15+ years of age in next year to be eligible for ICSE Examination.

There is no age limit required to appear in ICSE 10th standard board examinations. Candidates who have completed 10th standard as per the guidelines of Council for The Indian School Certificate Examination are eligible to appear in ICSE 10th standard board examinations. So, after completion of your 10th standard from ICSE Board school, you can appear in ICSE 10th standard board examinations.

Basically there is no lower age limit to apply for next year 10th class ICSE Board Exams. ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) board examination is conducted by "Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). Next year ICSE 10th class examination is going to be held in February, 2016 month. And this year ICSE 2015 is going to be held on 27th February, 2015.

10th class ICSE Board Exam Eligibility Criteria:

>> No lower or upper age limits are there to be eligible for 10th Class ICSE Examination. So you can anyhow apply for 10th class ICSE board examination with whatever your age is at the time you apply.

>> The Main thing you need to remember is, you must have "75% attendance at school in 9th class as well as in class 10th class till February of the examination academic year. So make sure you have 75% attendance in 9th class and 10th class till February 2016.

There is no minimum or maximum age limit, which has been specified by ICSE board to appear for ICSE 10th standard exam. But, the ICSE board, has instructed the schools to follow the norms(Age criteria), which was set by the State Education Department of the concerned State Government. By considering this rule, we can say that the candidate should have completed minimum 14 years of age, to appear for ICSE 10th standard exam.

The age limit to apply for the 10th ICSE Board exam varies depending on the policies of the school that a student is enrolled in. The ICSE Examination is open to students of any age. However, while admitting applicants, institutions are urged to adhere to the standards established by the State Education Department of the relevant State Government.
