Hello Sir, my Daughter's birth date is 6/01/2010 ,she is in jr kg and I want her admission in cr kg for 2015 class which will start in April almost.so in that case is she have and prob in appearance for 10th CBSE or ICSE bord???, I mean in which month she hv to complete her 15 yrs for appear in 10th Exam ??

Age limit for secondary examination (10th) varies from one state/UT to another state/UT. Since this subject (secondary education) comes under "State List" therefore there is no central regulation in this matter.

Some states/UT have age criteria of 14 years while others have 15 years.


Since you have not mentioned to which state you belong, so as a general advice :
Your child must have attained the "age limit" when application from for 10th board is to be submitted, so you can contact in this regard to the School where you want to admit your daughter.

In 2021 you son will be eligible to sit for ICSE examination. There is no specific age set by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination to appear for the 10th level board examination however many states has set a minimum age criteria to appear for the exam.

In most of the states the minimum age set to take 10th level board examination is 15years during the time of examination. Your son is born in 2006 January he will be 15years in 2021 and will be eligible to take 10th board exam.

My son's birth date is 01/01/2019 -- I am seeking admission for his montesari school now and confused as to which class he should be admitted. Either Nursery or LKG.
The Age criteria for LKG for all schools is 3yr 6 months as of June 2022. while my son would be 3yr 5 months..
so few are accepting while few are not and advising to go for 2023 LKG academic Year as it would give him proper time to settle.
