Age criteria for SSC XII CHSL examination :

Candidate must have age from 18 to 27 years. Relaxation in age is provided as follows :

SC/ ST : 5 years
OBC : 3 years
PH : 10 years

>> Minimum age : 18 years

Maximum Age : 27 years .

>> There is Age relaxation applicable for the reserved candidates

For OBC - 3 years

SC/ST - 5 years

PH - 10 years.

Age Criteria Required for SSC 10+2 CHSL Examination:

CHSL - Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination

CHSL known as SSC 10+2 CHSL Examination is conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year for recruiting for the posts of "Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)" and "Data Entry Operator (DEO)". Here is the eligibility criteria required for appearing in CHSL Examination.

Educational Qualification:

>> Candidates must have passed 12th Class in any discipline in 10+2 pattern from a recognized university.

Age Criteria: (As on 01.08.2015)

Minimum Age - 18 years
Maximum Age - 27 years
Note:
For CHSL 2015 Exam:- Candidates must have been born not before 2nd August, 1987 and later than 2nd August 1996.

SSC CHSL stands for Staff selection commission combined higher secondary level and the same examination is held for the recruitment of lower divisional clerk in government offices.

The eligibility required for appearing in this examination are as here under :-

* You must have completed your higher secondary school degree or any equivalent degree course with any stream of your liking from a recognized institution.

* You must have the citizenship of India with age lying within 18 years to 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the government norms.

--> The selection will be based on the performance in the Written examination ( Stage I ) and Skill test ( Stage II ).

For the session 2015, last date for applying in the examination has passed away and the examination is going to be held in November. So for appearing in the same examination you will have to wait upto next SSC for which the application form are made available on the official website by the June.

SSC CHSL stands for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary level examination. This exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the different posts of:

1. Lower Division Clerk.

2. Data Entry Operator.

3. Postal Assistant.

The minimum academic qualification required to appear for this exam is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board.

Age limit is 18-27 years for candidates of general category. Upper age relaxations applicable for reserved category.

This test is of 200 marks having two hours duration, 50 questions each from General Intelligence and reasoning, aptitude, English and General awareness.

The dates for online application for 2015 CHSL is over now and the examination will be conducted in month of November.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is :-
* Candidates must have passed the 10+2 from the recognised board in any discipline.
* Candidates age must be between the 18-27 years and relaxation in the age for the reserved category candidates.

The application form are released in the month of June and the examination are conducted in the month of November. The candidates have to go through the written and after qualifying they have to go through the typing test before the final selection.

SSC CHSLE is conducted by the SSC every year for the various vacancy for the LDC, DEO and Postal Assistant post.

The minimum qualification to appear for the SSC CHSLE is candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination and age must be above 18 years as on the 1st August of the year in which appearing for the examination.

So if you fulfil the above criteria you are eligible to appear in the examination. The examination is conducted in the two stages as the written and typing test. The application for the CHSLE 2015 is closed.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam to recruit the eligible candidates for various posts.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidates age should be between 18-27 years.

* Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ ST candidates is applicable.

* Age relaxation of 10 years is applicable for PH candidates.

* Candidate must have passed class 12th from any recognized institution or board.

This exam is held for LDC, DEO and post assistant posts. Written test is followed by the typing test and interview. Written examination of 2015 is expected to be conducted in November.

A candidate must fulfill the following criteria in order to be eligible for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary level exam:

The educational qualification required for the exam is 10+2 from a recognized board of India. The age limits for candidates belonging to general category is 18-27 years. Relaxation in upper age given to OBC and SC/ST candidates.

The entrance test is of objective type and has multiple choice questions from Aptitude, Reasoning, General awareness and knowledge and English.
