Am I eligible to become Indian Army Officer being an ISC candidate?
Sir, I want to become an Officer in Indian Army. I have completed my 12th with ISC Board. I would like to know if I am eligible or not to achieve my aim? I am a little worried because I am an ISC student. Please help me.

Board doesn't matter..for becoming an army officer , you can join NDA , Indian Armed Forces. Male candidates between age16_19 are eligible and has to clear NDA exam.

Minimum eligibility criteria to become Army officer is 12th pass with any stream and from any board. |

°°° Absolutely YES, you are eligible to become Indian army officer being an ISC candidate.
You have to appear in the NDA examination. This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of April and September. Yes, you are eligible to become Indian army officer.
Eligibility to become Army Officer:- The candidates who have completed class 12th can apply for National Defence Academy. The minimum age required to apply for NDA 16.5 to 9.5 years. NDA conducts written exam for the training courses twice a year. Candidates who clear the written exam along with physical and medical tests will have to undergo three years of training at NDA. |

YES, you are eligible to become an Indian Army Officer being an ISC candidate.
ISC board is a recognized board. This certificate is valid. Every Indian and foreign Institute recognize this board hence, you need not worry about this board's validity. |

NDA is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted twice in a year.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing 12th from a recognised board. Age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear in the examination. So, you are eligible to appear in the examination. For more information about the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

You can become an Army officer after qualifying in NDA examination. It is conducted by UPSC.
Examination is conducted in two stages - Written. SSB. Candidates have to appear and qualify in both stages of examination for final selection. For more information about the examination pattern visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |
