I have done 12th in PCM from Open Schooling. Can I apply for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam? Please reply as soon as possible. Waiting for your reply.

Open Schooling like NIOS are definitely valid qualification for admission in any degree course. It is a valid class 12th certificate and all you have to do is score good marks in entrance exam for admission.

AIIMS conduct their own entrance exam for admission in MBBS course and you can apply only when you have studied class 12th with physics, chemistry and biology subjects. You have studied PCM which is not the required qualification.

If your open school is recognized then you are eligible for AIIMS MBBS exam.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for AIIMS exam but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidates this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be in between 17 to 26 years.

Your marks is only applicable when that open school comes under recognized board or university.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidates must have completedtheir intermediate with any ofthe recognized university.

Candidates must be from Science stream with physics, chemistry, biology as their main subject.

Candidates must have at least 50% of marks.

Candidates age must be under 17 to 26 year.

Can i appear for aiims entrance exam with PCM as a stream and computer science.
