Can I apply for WBJEE this year if qualified in 12th but failed in Maths?
Hello
I have passed 12th but got failed in maths so i am giving improvement exam in maths as its compulsury to pass in maths,physics,chemistry for getting admission in engineering. So my question is may i fill the form of wbjee this year.. |

WBJEE (i.e) West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and this entrance examination is conducted by West Bengal State every year. WBJEE Eligibility Criteria:- -You must have passed high school under 10+2 pattern in Science with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from recognized university. -You must require to score at least 50% marks in 12th standard (40% required for reserving category student). -Your age must in between 17 years to 24 years. Dear sir,
if i failed in math exam then i can't eligble for WBJEE.Its ok.But if i studied on this subject and give a exam next year.Then can i eligble for WBJEE ,plz help me sir.. I m very tensed .Actually i m giving hs exam this year my preparation is good in all subject except math.. plz let me inform me.. Thanking you. |

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for WBJEE entrance examination. First of all you have to pass in mathematics also to appear in WBJEE entrance examination. Candidates have to qualify in each and every subject to appear in examination.
Eligibility criteria:- Candidate must have passed their intermediate with science stream from a recognized school or college. Candidate must have at least 50 % aggregate in their intermediate. Candidate who belongs to reserved category have at least 40% aggregate in their intermediate. Candidate age must not less than 17 years and not more than 24 years. |

If I get low marks in 12th and give improvement then can I apply for wbjee . i.e if I get 40% in maths and apply for improvement in next year can I apply for wbjee for that year in which I am giving the improvement exam

I'm sorry , you won't be able to apply for WBJEE as it is related to mainly engineering and architecture exam qualifications and both has huge contributions of mathematics within them so required eligibility criteria says that you should be pass in mathematics. +Aggregate 50% at minimum in combination of PCM.
