Can I study ANM(Nursing) course if completed 10th NIOS?


Hello Sir, I have passed my 10th Board exam from NIOS Board. I want to pursue ANM Nursing course. So, I would like to know can I apply for studying this ANM course or not? Please let me know as soon as possible.

No you can't study ANM course based on class 10th qualification. You need to complete class 12th with PCB stream to become eligible for nursing courses.

Admission will be through entrance exam conducted by the university to which the college is affiliated. You can get admission based on rank in the entrance exam.

The minimum eligibility criteria required to pursue ANM course is 10 + 2 with minimum 50% marks from a recognised board.
Preference is always given to Science students(Medical stream).
Admission is done on the basis of percentage secured by the candidate in 12th.
