Respected Sir, I was failed in 12th from CBSE, but I passed 11th but after that I did diploma and there is a gap for the 12th and I am from Kendriya Vidyalaya. My registration is already there because I passed 11th. Sir, can I take admission to 12th without wasting a year? Please answer Sir as soon as possible.

No, you can't take admission in 12th standard after failing in 11th standard of CBSE Board. To be eligible to pursue 12th standard, you should have to pass 11th standard. So, if you want to pursue 12th standard, you have to appear and qualify the supplementary examinations of your 11th standard to get admission in 12th standard.

Most of the schools won't allow direct admission in class 12th because if one is failed in class 11th then there is a lot of doubt about the outcome of class 12th

You can only do class directly through NIOS. Regular School who have reputation will not allow admission to you.

The registration which you are talking about was done for that particular year when you would have appeared for your 12th boards.

Yes you are eligible to reappear in 12th board examination. Even after with a gap no need to worry as because you can write board examination. But for this you have to go through registration one more time in 12th or you can tell it that you have to fill up forms to reappear in board examinations.

You are eligible to take admission in 12th standard only if you qualify your 11th standard from CBSE Board. Without qualifying 11th standard, you are not eligible to take admission in 12th standard. As you have mentioned in the thread that you are failed in 12th but passed in 11th. Then you can re-appear for 12th examination without wasting a year.

If you have backlogs in one or two subjects then you can appear for Compartment examination and clear it.

And if you have backlogs in more than two subjects then you have to appear for 12th examination again.
