Differences in 12th Chemistry syllabus of Assam SEBA HSLC and CBSE


Hi Sir, I am an Assam SEBA HSLC student of Science stream. I am in 12th standard and I want to know the difference between syllabus of CBSE and ISC Chemistry subject. Please mention the difference chapter wise of both Boards.

6. General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements: CBSE has a more concise syllabus for this chapter, while ISC covers the topic in more detail.

8. The d- and f- Block Elements: ISC covers this chapter in more detail than CBSE.

9. Coordination Compounds: ISC covers this chapter in more detail than CBSE.

10. Haloalkanes and Haloarenes: Both CBSE and ISC have the same syllabus for this chapter.

11. Alcohols, Phenols, and Ethers: Both CBSE and ISC have the same syllabus for this chapter.

12. Aldehydes, Ketones, and Carboxylic Acids: Both CBSE and ISC have the same syllabus for this chapter.

13. Amines: Both CBSE and ISC have the same syllabus for this chapter.

14. Biomolecules: ISC covers this chapter in more detail than CBSE.

15. Polymers: Both CBSE and ISC have the same syllabus for this chapter.

16. Chemistry in Everyday Life: Both CBSE and ISC have the same syllabus for this chapter.

These are the chapter-wise differences between the CBSE and ISC syllabus for Chemistry.
