Eligibility for JEE Advanced-

Candidates should have scored minimum 75% marks in aggregate in 12th standard for general category and relaxation of five percent is given to OBC / SC/ST.

Candidates should be in the top 250000 in paper 1 of JEE mains 2020.
However, the total number of candidates can be slightly greater than 250000 in the presence of tied ranks.

Having completed your Class 12th from CBSE board with just 61% marks, you are not eligible to apply for JEE Advanced as the minimum marks required in aggregate in Class 12th for appearing in the same examination in case of CBSE board candidates is 75% in case of General and OBC category candidates and 65% in case of SC/ST/PWD category candidates.

The Candidate should have passed with a minimum passing marks of 75% in 12th for general category students.
You have only one option remaining if you get 61%marks in 23 th board that Repeat 12 th from same board.
