Eligibility criteria for Nursery Teacher post in KVS :

Any graduate with nursery training certificate / degree / diploma can apply for Nursery teacher post in KVS. Preference is given to those candidates who are trained for pre-school education or have some experience.
Candidate have to pass the interview held by the school.

Eligibility criteria for the teacher posts in KVS are as follows:

Educational Qualification : Class XII pass with typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30.w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer for LDC, Graduate with 3 years Experience for UDC and Assistant, Master Degree in relevant subjects with 50% marks and B.Ed for PGT, Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and passed in CTET Paper II for TGT, Intermediate with 50% marks and passed in CTET for Primary Teacher, All other post Qualification as per Official Notification.

You need to qualify CTET for getting nursery teacher job in KVS. They are central government funded schools and you have to qualify this exam then only there is chance of getting the job.

CTET is conducted for primary and secondary teachers post according to the qualification of the candidate. You must have the required qualification to become eligible for it.

Recruitment of teachers in school approved by Central Board of Secondary Education is carried out on the basis of common entrance exam, called Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET).

A pass in higher secondary examination with 50 % marks along with Diploma in Elementary Education is the minimum eligibility for this exam.

The exam is conducted separately for Primary stage and Elementary Stage


Eligibility for CTET:

Graduation with a minimum of 50 % marks is the minimum eligibility criterion.

Final year of candidates of the two year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Bachelor in Education are eligible to appear for the exam.

Graduates with a minimum of 45 % marks in aggregate along with bachelor’s degree in education are also eligible.

Candidates who have passed higher secondary examination with 50 % marks along with four year Bachelor in Elementary Education are also eligible.

For become a teacher of Nursery class in KVS you need to pass the CTET exam. Your salary pay scale will be- 9300 to 38400.
You must have 12th passed with minimum 50% of marks.You have to qualify one CTET paper to get the job.
