Eligibility for IIT JEE exam through open schooling?
As I have dropped one year and I have decided to appear through open schooling can I attempt for IIT JEE exam?

Yes, candidates passed 10+2 from any recognised board even through NIOS are eligible to appear for IIT JEE examination.
JEE examination is conducted in two stage as Main and Advanced. The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate passed 10+2 or pursuing from any recognised board. Candidate must have PCM as main paper in 10+2. Candidate can appear maximum 3 times for Main examination and 2 for Advanced examination. If you have pursued class 12 examination from a recognized open schooling, then you are eligible to appear for JEE examination. Beside one has to meet the criteria to be eligible for JEE examination.
To be eligible for JEE examination, the candidate must have completed his/ her class 12 examination from a recognized board of education. |

Eligibility for IIT JEE through Open Schooling:
> You should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate with Science in your 12th examination from a recognized board/University. > You must have studied at least 5 subjects including Physics, Maths and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. > Candidate should be atleast the age of 16 in order to appear for the examination. |
