Eligibility Criteria required to appear in JAM BT:

The basic eligibility criteria required to appear in JAM BT Examination is given below,

Name of the Exam - JAM

>> Candidates must be Indian or Foreign citizen.

>> Must have completed Bachelor's degree in Science or appearing or appeared the final year of qualifying degree in order to be eligible.

>> The minimum percentage required is 55% marks for General or OBC category candidates and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates.

Hence, If you can meet the above mentioned criteria then I can say that you are certainly eligible to appear in examination.

You can do various courses after qualifying JAM (Joint Admission test for Masters) BT (Biotechnology). List is given below.
  • M.Sc. Biological Sciences. If you want to work in the field of medical, scientific research, hospitals, laboratory and health care, this course can help you a lot.
  • M.Sc. Biotechnology. There are so many job opportunities in this field because of the growing pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
  • M.Sc. Chemistry. A person can apply in any kind of chemical manufacturing unit, and also join the teaching field as well.
  • M.Sc. Mathematics. By doing this degree a person can join companies in Research and Development, banks, exchanges, manufacturing industries and market research.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
